I'm in the process of my autumn cleaning. Yesterday I completed the bathroom. Today, I went over to Zellers to grab some cleaning supplies. I spent about thirty bucks. Fuckers. Today my goals are to clean out the fridge, ridding it of uneaten leftovers, rotting food, expired food, empty boxes, and what have you. I also plan to vacuum and sweep/swiffer.
It's all very daunting, but in the end it will be worth it.
Tomorrow I'll organize shit and dust.
But I have to laugh at the fridge. Basically, it was stocked full. After getting rid of all the aforementioned, it is barren. Basically there's salad dressing, condiments, jams, a big tub of my soya margarine....and yeah, that's about it! I think the garbage bag weighed about 50 pounds after cleaning it out. And don't chastize me, people. Much of this stuff belonged to Amy and Liska too.
I'm debating leaving the fridge for one of them, or both, to wipe out, as I did it last year, when it was rather disgusting. But no, I think in the end I'll want everything to be perfect for when they come back.
Also laughable are some of my idiosyncrasies in the kitchen, of which Amy is all too familiar. For instance, in the freezer was a whole bunch of boxes. Just empty, sitting there. I always put empty boxes and milk bags and shit back where they were, instead of disposing of them. It drives Amy nuts but for some reason I can't help not doing it. I also do it for the pantry. For instace the entire top rack is for cereal boxes. It was completely full (8 cereal boxes, 7 were mine) yet every single box was empty or very near empty. Hahahaha. Now the top shelf is barren, after having corrected that situation. I had to get rid of the nearly-empty cereals as well because the moth-esques found their way into them :/
I bought a sub for lunch/dinner. Since I have no groceries. Period. That will be for tomorrow. I don't even have stuff to snack on.
Oh and on the Duffmin front, his illness has prevented him from gnawing his teeth down, and they're practically growing into the upper roof of his mouth. He has to permanently keep his mouth slightly ajar. It looks really painful, and you can tell he finds it discomforting. I try to get him to gnaw on stuff but he shrugs me off. Today I put a dish of food in his cage and he basically grimaced at me and rolled over to go back to sleep. That has never happened. He ALWAYS comes out to investigate the new food. And he's so fat now that he rolls everywhere instead of walking. Hard to describe, but it's true.
Hmm. I would be surprised if the poor fellow lived to see the beginning of the new school year.
Well, back to cleaning. I think vacuuming is next.

What food in the fridge could possibly be mine? I haven't been there in almost 4 months, other then that one over nighter last month. *confused*

(To be fair, you said I could have them, but I guess I didn't get through them all by the time they found themselves in the back of the fridge)
